Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using George Hill Publisher's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Services

George Hill Publisher provides book writing, editing, publishing, illustration, marketing, and audiobook production services. The scope, timeline, and deliverables for each project are defined in a separate project agreement or proposal provided to the client prior to commencement of work.

3. Payment Terms

All payments are due as outlined in your project agreement. General terms include:

• A non-refundable deposit is required before work begins
• Remaining balance is due upon project completion or as per milestone schedule
• Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly interest charge
• We reserve the right to pause work on accounts with outstanding balances

4. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, the client receives full ownership of the final deliverables. George Hill Publisher retains the right to display completed work in its portfolio unless the client requests otherwise in writing. All preliminary drafts, concepts, and unused materials remain the property of George Hill Publisher.

5. Revisions

Each project includes a defined number of revision rounds as specified in the project agreement. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope will be billed at our standard hourly rate. Revision requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery.

6. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

• Provide accurate and complete project information in a timely manner
• Respond to feedback requests within agreed timeframes
• Ensure all content provided does not infringe on third-party rights
• Obtain any necessary permissions for materials submitted to George Hill Publisher

7. Limitation of Liability

George Hill Publisher shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate a project agreement with 14 days written notice. In the event of termination, the client is responsible for payment of all work completed up to the termination date. The initial deposit is non-refundable.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in New York, NY.
